With nine bedrooms, this welcoming home comfortably accommodates up to 18 guests. Each bedroom has been carefully refurbished, preserving the house's Victorian charm. Original fireplaces evoke a sense of history, while modern comforts such as reliable water pressure and most comfortable Duxiana beds ensure a good night’s sleep.
As you explore the bedrooms, you will uncover the enchanting history of the house, with each bedroom bearing a unique name that weaves it into the fabric of the property's past.

Thurlow, Ross, and Moray are extremely comfortable with sweeping panoramic views of the Moray Firth, the iconic Sutors, and the majestic hills of Ross-shire and Sutherland. Just as comfortable, Finlay and Albert provide partial ocean views whilst Findhorn, Sylvestris, and Gladstone, are beautifully decorated, intimate rooms, each with their own character and views of the wonderful Firthside House gardens.
The Black Isle bedroom with its ensuite bathroom is located on the ground floor - a helpful touch for less mobile guests or for families travelling with a nanny or a chef.

Thurlow
Stunning sea views
With stunning sea views from the corner turret seating area and three windows bathing the room in light Thurlow boasts an en-suite and subtly warm colour palette, named after the houses former owner Lord Thurlow.
Finlay
Calm and Luxurious
A calm and luxurious double bedroom with dedicated shower/bathroom, original feature tiling and characterful pattern wallpaper. Named after Robert Finlay, the founding member and former Captain of the Nairn Golf Club.
Moray
Views over the ocean
Named after its spectacular view over the Moray Firth this double bedroom and its beautiful en-suite boast some of the houses best vistas over the water and to the hills beyond.
Albert
Stunning traditional features
A spacious and adaptable room which can be tailored to your requirements as a double or twin. Albert has a dedicated bathroom featuring a shower and bath, large windows and particularly unique original tiled fireplace. A nod to the street name on which one side of Firthside House is located.
Sylvestris
Cosy and warm
Inspired by the forest and the Latin word for the Scots Pine, this naturally cosy room gives its guest the sense of natures embrace. Spend time here and you will gradually notice your welcoming roommates in the unique original tiles and beautiful wallpaper details. This room also has a dedicated bathroom just across the hall.
Findhorn
Garden Views
A large double bedroom with views of the mature pines and southern garden. Findhorn boasts classic style, antique furniture and a dedicated bathroom with the choice of a shower or bath. Findhorn Bay is nearby and boasts magnificent beaches and a delightful harbour.
Gladstone
Characterful
With striking signature wallpaper and cosy lighting Gladstone is a particularly characterful double bedroom. Gladstone benefits from its own shower/bathroom. William Ewart Gladstone was prime minister under which Baron Thurlow served as Paymaster General.
Black Isle
Ground floor room with easy access.
An easily accessible bedroom on the ground floor of the house, Black Isle features an en-suite shower/wet-room and relaxing interior styling and colour palette. The Black-Isle is a stunning peninsular that can be seen from Firthside House across the Moray Firth.
